Ben Thompson, a Form 1, 2, Course Y, and 3 staff Instructor and Rector, wanted to bring lightsaber combat to his TaeKwon-Do school since opening it in 2018. At Starfall Academy in 2022, he discovered LudoSport and knew it was the perfect fit. Drawn to its respectful and supportive atmosphere, he quickly became a certified Form 1 instructor and launched LS Canton soon after. Now, he's advancing in higher Forms, dedicated to bringing LudoSport’s playful, competitive, and community-driven training to Northeast Ohio.

Steven "Reverend Dood" Santana is a Form 1 Instructor who discovered LudoSport after his gastric sleeve surgery in January 2023. Seeking a fun way to stay active, he found traditional workouts uninspiring—until he activated a saber for the first time at LudoSport Canton. Instantly hooked, he embraced the training, despite having no prior fitness or martial arts experience. The welcoming community and camaraderie made LudoSport feel like a second family, supporting his self-improvement journey. Now, as an instructor, he shares his passion, helping others grow while embodying the values of Servizio, Cura, and Rispetto. One Name, One Sky!
